About
Open to any incoming 9th Grader through exiting high school senior, the Summer Institute is a five day program designed for students who are interested in politics, history, or international relations. Providing its participants with the opportunity to hear human rights experts, historians, and advocates, the goal of the program is to inspire its students to have a positive impact on their communities, nation, and world. Featuring hands-on activities, discussions, and field trips, participants will get the inspiration, know-how, and network that will propel them to doing great things both now and in the future
Mission Statement
The Summer Institute is a non-denominational, non-partisan program designed to provide in-depth human rights education for local high school students and teachers. Whether it is through understanding the history of the Holocaust, contemporary genocide, or human rights issues, the goal of the Institute is to broaden and deepen the knowledge base of its students, so that they may in turn make a difference in their communities, nation, and world.
Goals

To develop the knowledge and understanding necessary to actively involve themselves with issues of human rights and genocide prevention.

To cultivate a sense of civic leadership necessary that is vital to our communities, nation, and world.
